Temporary extension of the check-in area of Marco Polo Airport, Venice

This project, planned by Sinergo, expanded the check-in area of Marco Polo Airport, Venice, with a new space of more than two thousand square metres. Within the scope of the enlargement project, 39 new check-in desks for passengers were created. Sinergo managed the design of structural, architectural and systems-related elements, while also overseeing the management of works during the construction phase. The building was created in two stages: the first phase, planned during the first half of 2015 and then executed over the course of just two months, saw the creation of 17 check-in desks; the second, planned in 2017 and realised in 2018, resulted in the creation of 22 desks.
